Snow Blowing & Snow Removal Information
Snow buildup around your home isn’t just an inconvenience—it can create safety hazards, block access, and lead to ice buildup that becomes difficult to manage as winter wears on. In Alaska, frequent snowfall and changing temperatures mean walkways, driveways, and entry points can quickly become buried or dangerously slick. Spit Shine Gutter Cleaning offers dependable snow blowing and shoveling services to help keep your property safe, accessible, and functional all winter long.

We clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, stairs, and entryways, paying close attention to high-traffic areas where safety matters most. Do you offer free estimates?
The only service we do not offer free estimates for is ice dam removal. Generally, we will need to remove the snow to see how big the ice dam is.
When should you remove snow?
We say at 1′ It doesn’t hurt to start thinking about it. At 2′ is when we recommend removal because the next snowfall could put you at 4′. Of course it all really depends on the expected snowfall and what you’re capable of handling.
